The historic and quaint mountain area of Bakersville NC is located in beautiful Mitchell County near Roan Mountain. It is a region that is widely known for its scenic beauty, especially along the banks of Cane Creek and slopes of Roan Mountain. It also annually plays host to the NC Rhododendron Festival, which brings numerous visitors to the area.
