A fun historic theme park, Tweetsie Railroad began in 1957 with a few rides, shows, and the main draw, the #12 Steam Locomotive that was fully restored from the former East Tennessee & Western North Carolina Railroad (ET&WNC Railroad). Since the Wild West-themed park has grown to include tons of fun rides for kids of all ages, a game arcade and area, and tons of show venues.
